Store Manager Position

Company Overview: We are a thriving dance store located in the Red Bank area of Chattanooga. We are committed to providing a curated selection of dance apparel and gear, with exceptional service for fittings and advice. We strive to create a positive and special environment for our staff and customers. 

Position: Store Manager

Location: 3809 Dayton Blvd, Chattanooga, TN 37415

Responsibilities: will include, but are not limited to

• Scheduling staff
• Maintaining inventory numbers in computer software
• Ensuring the cleanliness of the store
• Following up with customers on special orders
• Staying up date with new products and training staff
• Communicating with the owner, marketing manager, and staff regularly
• Running 6 staff meetings throughout the year
• Managing the register drawer
• Helping produce the annual Assemble Dance Festival
• Assisting with social media posts 
• Managing and participating in pop up shops throughout the year

Requirements: To excel in this position, we are seeking individuals who align with our store’s values and poses the following qualifications

• Passion for dance and dancers in the community
• Strong communication skills
• Experience in retail
• Experience with dance (preferably some pointe experience)

• Competitive Salary starting $12-$16 per hour depending on experience and education
